The applicable age for Segway Super Electric Scooter is 14-60 years old, the applicable height is 130--200cm, and the maximum payload is: 150kg. Please wear a helmet and protective gear when riding.

Applicable Terrain: Cement/asphalt road, flat dirt road, masonry road, steps no higher than 2cm, trenches no more than 3cm wide. Scooters are not a means of transport and are prohibited from riding on public transport roads. Please abide by local laws, regulations and policies when riding. Please respect pedestrians' rights of way.

*Caution: Do not enter public roads, highways or other areas that may affect normal driving or safety of driving.  

Segway Super Electric Scooter uses oil brake. Generally, the brake is not sensitive because the brake oil is leaking. Please go to the nearest service center outlet to refill the brake oil.

1. Unscrew the tire nozzle cap；

2. First use the standard extension valve to connect with the tire inflation nozzle and tighten it；

3. Connect the other end of the extension valve to the valve of the air pump；

4. It is recommended to inflate the air pressure to 45psi, then stop inflation and remove the extension valve, and tight the nozzle cap.

In Power On state, the headlights and the taillights will be turned on at the same time. The taillights will be turned on when unit brakes (brighter).

1. Download and install the latest version of the "Segway-Ninebot" APP on your mobile phone, and log in/register.

2. Open the APP and Power On the scooter, click "Search Device" or "+" in the upper right corner to add a device, and click "→" to connect after the searched vehicle is displayed.

3. According to the APP prompt, press the vehicle power On/Off to pair. (For the mobile phone connected for the first time, you need to press the power On/Off for Bluetooth pairing)

Super Scooter doesn’t have energy recovery function[闫卫东1] 

Energy Recovery: Swipe from bottom to top on the main interface → "Energy Recovery" → "Recovery Strength" setting.

Recovery Strength: "Weak, Medium, Strong" settings

Alert Mode：On the main interface, click the icon of "Black Lock" to "Green Shield", and the icon of the lock will become the "Green Shield" interface. In the Bluetooth connection state, if the vehicle is locked, pushing the vehicle will prompt a locked vehicle warning in the APP

The lock icon on the dashboard is always on, indicating that the scooter is locked.

Unlock: Click the "Green Shield" interface to unlock.

There is pedestrian mode, you can switch to pedestrian mode by pressing the right knob；

How to Operate：

1. Turn the right knob at zero speed.

2. GT1: Short press the right knob GT2: Long press the right knob;

* in this mode, lightly twist the throttle, the scooter travels at a low speed, which acts as a booster.

Pedestrian Mode: in this mode, lightly twist the throttle, the scooter travels at a low speed, which plays a boosting role and is convenient for pushing the vehicle.

The front and rear wheels of the Segway Super Scooter series are all pneumatic tires, and the rubber material vacuum jelly tires with having good shock absorption effect.

The fender part is made of plastic (PC) material, and it is forbidden to step on the fender.

No, please use the brake lever to decelerate, and the rear fender is not allowed to step on.

The scooter turns 60 ° left and right. You need to slow down before turning. The faster you go, the less you need to turn sharply. If it exceeds 60°, there may be a problem with the anti-rotation piece. You need to contact the after-sales service centers for testing.

When the scooter fails, the "!" exclamation mark icon is always on, and the dashboard displays the fault code. Please contact after-sales service center for repair.

But once you ride it into a public area, it will also have the attributes of a vehicle, so there are safety risks that all vehicles can have. Strictly following the instructions in this manual will protect you and others’ safety to the greatest extent, and ensure compliance with national, provincial and municipal traffic laws and regulations, etc.

2. At the same time, you need to understand: once you ride the electric scooter on public roads or other public places, even if you fully follow this safe riding guide, you may face risks caused by illegal driving/improper operation of others or vehicles. Just like walking or biking can be harmed by other means of transportation; as with all vehicles, the faster you ride an electric scooter, the longer it takes to brake, and on some slippery surfaces, emergency braking can also cause the wheels to spin, lose balance or even fall. It is therefore important to be vigilant, maintain an appropriate speed, and maintain a reasonable safe distance from other people and vehicles while riding. When riding into unfamiliar terrain, be vigilant and drive at a low speed.

3. Please respect pedestrians' rights on way when riding. Avoid scaring pedestrians, especially children. When passing behind pedestrians, alert pedestrians and slow down when passing. Pass as far as possible on the left side of pedestrians (for countries where vehicles drive on the right). When facing a pedestrian, keep to the right and reduce speed.

1. Connect the APP to check whether the vehicle is locked. If the vehicle is locked, it can be unlocked in the APP to back to normal.

2. Check whether the vehicle is activated, if it is not activated, you can connect to the APP to activate it and it will back to normal.

3. If the APP is connected or the alarm fault code is displayed on the screen, please contact the after-sales service center for repair.

4. If the above problems cannot be solved after troubleshooting, please contact the after-sales service center for repair.

1. Check the brake lever if it is damaged;

2. Check whether the brake fluid is leaking or exhausted, the brake fluid needs to be refilled as soon as possible

3. The brake pads are overheated or severely worn; the brake pads need to be replaced as soon as possible

1. Check whether the vehicle power On/Off switch state is normal and the power is sufficient;

2. Check whether there is any response after pressing the throttle when the starting speed exceeds 3km/h;

3. If an alarm or other unknown fault occurs, please contact the after-sale service center for repair

The main issues of the headlights are as follows;

1. The tail light doesn’t Power On: If the headlight/brake is not powered on, the tail light in the APP may be set to a very bright state. You need to connect the vehicle to the APP and set it to a constant light state, such as powering on the headlight/brake or set it to “always light”. If it is not bright enough, you need to contact the after-sales service center for repair.

2. The headlights are abnormal (including no light or dim light), which can be adjusted in the APP. If it still fails, please contact the after-sales service center for repair.

Please check whether the connection of the stem is in good condition. If there is issue with the connection, please contact the after-sale service center for repair.

It can be adjusted in the APP, when turning on the headlight, dashboard dims when headlights are turned on.

There may be two situations:

1. There are slight wear marks on the joint of the upper part of the handlebar, which is caused by the matching test between the upper part of the handlebar and the vehicle frame before the new vehicle leaves the factory, please don't worry.

2. There are scratches on the appearance of the vehicle, which are caused by friction during transportation.

【1】Theoretical Battery Life: It refers to driving on a flat road at a constant speed of 20km/h with a load of 75kg and at ambient temperature of 25°C when fully charged.

【2】Typical Battery Life: It refers to riding on a flat road at a constant speed of 40km/h with a load of 75kg and at ambient temperature of 25°C under full power.

* Factors that affect Battery Life includes: Speed, Load, Road Conditions, Number of Power on /off and Ambient Temperature, etc.

1. First check whether the stem cable is well connected

2. On the premise that the charger is not faulty, charge the vehicle, and try to power on the vehicle after it is fully charged (the red light of the charger changes to a green light).

3. If it still cannot power on, you need to contact the after-sales service center for repair.

The protection level of the Segway Super Electric Scooter series is IPX4; although the frame has a waterproof design, it is not recommended to wading in water for long time, which may cause water penetration and cause failure; and for the sake of the user's personal safety, it is easy to be dangerous in bad weather, and it is not recommended to ride.

The main reason is the color difference of some parts.

The battery display is located at the bottom of the dashboard, with a total of 10 grids, and a single grid represents about 10% of the battery

Under normal circumstances, the Segway super electric scooter series will automatically shut down after 5 minutes of silence; if the APP locks the vehicle, it will automatically shut down in 1 hour.

① Check the Bluetooth status of the display screen after the vehicle is powered on

② Check whether the APP has authorized Bluetooth, network, GPS positioning and other permissions on the mobile phone. You need to enable the relevant permissions before you can connect to the APP.

③ You can try to replace the mobile phone device or network environment

④ Try updating to the latest version of the app

⑤ If the above investigation is still unable to resolve the issue, you may need to contact after-sales service center for repair.

When the Segway Super Electric Scooter is in the charging state, the display will show the charging state, and the screen can be powered off by manually shutting down when charging.

Segway super electric scooter series battery pack charging temperature range: 0 ℃ - 40 ℃, if the battery pack temperature is too high or too low will automatically protect and cannot be charged. After standing to below 40°C or above 0°C, it will return to normal. In this case, there is no need to report for repair. If it still cannot be charged after returning to the charging temperature range, please contact after-sales service center for repairing.

It is normal. In order to extend the riding mileage as much as possible, the maximum speed continues to decrease as the battery power decreases, and the maximum speed of the scooter will gradually decrease when the battery is low. In addition, when the battery is low, it will obviously feel that the power is low, and it can be restored after a full charge.

The scooter uses 18650 ternary lithium battery. After 500 cycles of charge and discharge, the battery capacity will not be less than 70% of the rated capacity. It is recommended to charge when the remaining power is about 10% to avoid excessive discharge, which can prolong the battery life.

The battery cannot be disassembled without authorization, and the warranty service will be lost after disassembling without authorization.

The indicator of the charger shall prevail: the indicator of the charging is: when charging, the red light is always on; when it is fully charged, the green light is always on

The following steps need to be checked:

1. Check for poor contact: Re-plug and unplug the connections on both sides of the charger to see if it can be resolved;

2. Check whether the charger is faulty: plug the charger into the power supply, but not the vehicle, and observe whether the indicator light of the charger flashes normally (green) ；

3. Check whether the indicator of the charger in the charging state is red. If it keeps showing green and cannot be charged, you need to contact the after-sales service center for repair.

Wipe the main frame clean with a soft damp cloth. For hard-to-clean marks, apply toothpaste and brush repeatedly with a toothbrush, then clean with a soft damp cloth.

Before cleaning, please make sure the scooter is powered off, unplug the charging cable and fasten the rubber cover of the charging port, otherwise it may cause damage to the electronic components. Do not use alcohol, gasoline, kerosene or other corrosive, volatile solvents to clean your scooter. These elements may damage the exterior and interior structure of the vehicle frame. It is forbidden to use pressure water gun or water pipe spray for washing.

1. When not in use, store the scooter in a cool, dry place. Please do not store the scooter outdoors for a long time. Both sun exposure and extreme temperature conditions (too hot and too cold) will speed up the aging of plastic parts and potentially reduce battery life.

2. Battery Storage and Maintenance: A fully charged battery will use up its stored power after about 120-180 days of its standby. In standby mode, the low battery should be charged every 30-60 days. A completely depleted battery may cause permanent damage to the battery. There is a smart chip inside the battery to record the charge and discharge of the battery. Damage due to overcharging or undercharging is not covered under warranty

Long-term and long-distance riding requires inspection of product performance components. It is recommended to use the scooter maintenance schedule (for details, please refer to the "Segway Super Electric Scooter Series Maintenance Items" on the last page of the user manual).

Segway Super Electric Scooter Assembling Method:

After unboxing the vehicle and accessories boxes，

1. Fix the scooter standpipe: Hold the riser upright and lock the folding wrench. Open parking bracket；

2. Slide the head of the vehicle into the standpipe along with the power cable inside the standpipe, with the headlights facing forward；

3. Use T25 wrench to tighten the 6 screws of M5 in sequence；

4. Carry out Power On/Off switch testing (check the display is normally on, there is no alarm, and when riding normally, the installation is complete)

① First loose (do not completely unscrew) the 2 screws that fix the disc brake seat, move the disc brake seat left and right, turn the rear wheel to check the clearance and disc friction, until the disc brake disc is in the middle of the disc brake seat, and then tighten the 2 screws to fix it. After trial rotation if there is no disc rubbing on the rear wheel, it means the problem has been resolved.

② The disc brake disc is deformed, you need to call and visit after-sales service center to replace the disc brake disc.

The scooter has 4 speed modes and parking modes, which are: Pedestrian Mode, Economic Mode (ECO), Sport Mode (SPORT), Track Mode (RACE), Parking Mode (PARK), the icon is always on to display the current speed mode.

* When power on it will automatically enter in PARKING mode and the icon will flashes.

The maximum speed is as follows：

 Slide：Stand on one foot on the pedal, Push the other foot back tilt.

2. Accelerate: Step on the pedals with both feet, press the throttle lever with your right hand, and keep your body balanced.

*GT1P and GT2P can be started with no speed by default, and the "start with no speed" switch can be turned off through the Segway-Ninebot APP. If function is turned off, motor start-up requirements: speed ≥3km/h.

* Motor Start Requirements: Vehicle Speed ≥ 3km/h. The starting speed (0-5km/h) can be adjusted in the APP.

3. Slow Down: Release the throttle lever and press the brake lever.

4. Steering: Slightly tilt your body's center of gravity and turn the handlebars slowly. * Due to the large turning radius of the vehicle, please pay attention to observe the road conditions and leave enough space.

The brand new scooter is in an inactive state, with a speed limit of 20km/h, and it is unable to switch mode above ECO. Before using it for the first time, you must activate your scooter through the "Segway-Ninebot" APP (herein after referred to as the APP). The activation method is shown in the figure below：

Left Knob: Power on/off headlights and Day light. 
Clockwise Rotation: Headlights on, Day lights off. 
Counterclockwise Rotation: Headlights off, Day lights on.

In Power Off / Unlocked State, short press to Power On, long press to Power Off. When the unit is locked, short press to wake the screen.

* In Power On state, the lights are always on (it can be Powered Off in the APP）

Electric Horn/Button Horn: Press the button to horn, and release the button to stop the horn.

* Prompt Beep: At locked mode, the unit will beep if keep moving the unit.

During riding, when the speed is more than 5km/h and the speed and throttle is stable, press the left knob will set to cruise mode.  Release the throttle at this point and the scooter will continue to be ride at a constant speed.  

Vehicle Owner Certification: When the vehicle is bound to the vehicle for the first time or is bound again after unbinding, Vehicle authentication will be carried out automatically,

I.e. vehicle owner certification.

A. It is normal for the handlebar to sway back and forth, and it is normal to have a swaying feeling. Because the connection between the levers of this structural component is long from the handlebar to the frame position, there will be a swaying feeling.

B. Stem shaking is relatively high and there is a gap at the connection, which can be solved by the following methods：

1. Check for loose screws at the connection between the handlebar and the stem. If there are loose screws, please tighten the screw with a 5mm Allen key.

As shown below:

① When installing the stem screws, align the mounting holes first.

② Use the included Allen Key, Pre-tighten each screw in half.

③ After all six screws are pre-tightened, fully tighten the each screw respectively.

There are three ways to check vehicle SN：

1. Check the box location, there is an SN label on the side;

The dashboard can display the following information：

Firmware Upgrade: Click on the "Left Column Button" → "Device Settings" → "Firmware Upgrade" → "Check Update"
